You Don’t Have Time to Read This Post

Our boys love waterbikes

I've got the feeling that the end of summer is only spitting distance away, so I've pulled a favorite post to help remind me of important stuff:

Back to school is almost here and life is hectic.

But here are some quick reminders to remember today:

1) Breathe (it will help keep your stress hormones down and you will feel like a nicer person)

Outdoor cooking on vacation

2) Notice something beautiful (it will keep your stress hormones down and you will feel like a nicer person)

3) Listen to uplifting music (it will keep your stress hormones down and you will feel like a nicer person)

4) Hug someone (it will keep your stress hormones down and you will feel like a nicer person)

5) Say something encouraging to a loved one (it will keep… got the idea?)

May you glorify God today!

What do you do to lift your spirits?

Here's Sabrina's encouragement for you from Romans 8:

Amen, Vicki! I have quite a list today and was about to dash out of the house when I saw your tweet. What a great title! Thanks for the reminder to slow down and be intentional.

Back for some better quality quiet time with God, some breakfast and a few moments to develop a game plan. Then off to breathe deeply as I sing Christmas carols at the tops of lungs in the car!

Oh, yes! Last night, I went with my oldest son, sister, and dad to Longwood Gardens. We had a chance to breathe in the fragrance of roses, notice the stunning beauty of a variety of flowers, and listen to Christmas music throughout. The stress hormones are way down, by golly! (And I glorify God for his amazing, marvelous handiwork!)
